Exams season going on and so is the preparations for it. Well i guess students these days got an `el-nino` effect of the same,hahah.temperature rising !! And being a student myself too , i have pen down some of the basic things which can help you to cope up with exam pressure . Let`s understand the `exam-thing` step-by-step,what is an exam ? Its just a way to assess your preparation for a particular subject. While preparing for one ,we usually land-up in stress, then how to beat exam stress ? Below mentioned are some of the ways to overcome stress:-
- Organise: first and the foremost is to organise ,in the context you should have all the basic things with you,say,books ( no last minute rush to photostatic shops) ,identity card .. so that you don't have to do last minute search for the same.
- Planning : Planning as in prioritise,which chapter/unit holds the maximum weightage to the exam. Do that first,so that you know your topics well.
- Relax:- ohoooo... wait guys, you can't cram everything in one day (generally,its the last day we study) , take break,go for a walk, play with your pet and chill for some time in between.
- Practice-practice and practice: nothing can beat hard work, you need to be thorough with the topic you do. old saying practice makes the man perfect
- No-New ; Don't try to learn-practice new topic at the last moment of the exam, probable chances are you might end up in remembering any.
- Diet:- the most important is diet, what you eat.... eating healthy makes your brain work efficiently and effectively , some of the best food for your brain are dark chocolates,green tea,almonds.
- Forget:- many a times this happens after or exam we are like ,`yaar iska answer kya tha ? ohhh shitttt !! `main yeh wala point likhna bhool gaya` guys, chill !! what's done is done,can`t be undo.. so it`s better to start focusing on the next one to come so that you don`t commit another mistake in next one.
Dont worry what others have done on their sheets ( wo likhti jaa rahi thi), concentrate on yours...boost up your morale and lower your peer pressure thing and yeah !! take proper rest and sleep, you must have got tired of asking your mates `kitna kar liya ?`
