Kaat kaleja dilli,Lai gayi kaat kaleja dilli, mui dilli le gayi....

Delhi is the only state in the country,as far as i remember, which has been in continuously in media in one form or the other .Though ,it has to be as all the key issues relating to the whole country takes place over there but sadly the reasons are different, from rapes to accidents to environmental concern to Mr.kejriwal. Mr.kejriwal has become the magnet of controversies,it feels like now that he wants to fight to one or the other.Be it inside the party or outside .The latest one is his ongoing tussle with (L-G) Najeeb Jung. Delhi enjoys the unique status of partial statehood. It has the chief minister but his/her powers are not the same as the designation of other states,his/her powers didn’t extend to the three civic bodies in the Capital, MCD, NDMC and Cantonment board, as also in matters of land, law and order or to Delhi Police.Since, the act formed in 2002, by then chief minister`s of the states has opposed the powers being given to the L-G in there own varied way. Now,the ...

Finally, she took her last breath ..

The night of November-17-1973,came as the darkest of the darkest night for the Late.Aruna Ramchandra Shanbaug, that night bought 42 years of life worse than death for her.Late.Aruna in those days were planning to get married, but a guy named as,Sohanlal Bhartha Walmiki, sweeper in the hospital, had something different plans for her.Late.Aruna used to work as nurse in KEM hospital,Mumbai.on 27th-Nov-1973 ,night when Late.Aruna was changing the clothes in the hospital basement, sohanlal attacked her, choked her with the dog chain and sodomized her.He left her probably thinking she might have died, but she was alive cum dead. The police case was registered as a case of robbery and attempted murder on account of the concealment of anal rape by the doctors under the instructions of the Dean of KEM, Dr. Deshpande, perhaps to avoid the social rejection of the victim, and her impending marriage.Sohanlal was caught and convicted, and served two concurrent seven-year sentences for assault and robbe...

Warrior or a Worrier ...?

While going through an article on psychology i read about `fight or flight response`. it is characterised by having some sensations in the body, when a human mind encounters a different situation, which is not usual in the environment or to be precise when mind perceives threat, then our mind triggers either to fight with that situation or to fly away... depends on what is the situation..and how our mind perceives it. For instance, an increased heart rate and faster breathing. You can also feel a pressure in your chest as though something is pressing down on you.well friends, we as humans might have or may face some situations which made our body to react in such a way which is unusual... some people have stage fears.. they are like,`how will i face audience?`,`will i forget,if i do,then?` long way back I too had such chills in my body... slowly and gradually i overcame my fears. The best remedy to me was to practise .. that's it.. when I'm done with my homework, whom should ...

Another side of the story...

Well my blog dated on 11-may-2015 highlighted an issue where a policemen threw the brick at women .Though i still condemn the act done by the policemen ,nothing-nothing justifies his actions which left the women with broken wrist.... interestingly,I found this excerpt on facebook .... another side of the story ,By a Delhi citizen, quote` Last few months, every morning, a drive to college makes me follow a road; a left turn towards Delhi's, Golf Links; a road called, Archbishop Makarios Marg! A traffic policeman, strictly stands on duty there; as many people coming from Khan Market nearby don't follow the red light on that particular road. He stops an auto but the auto walla doesn't stop. The traffic policeman follows him on his bike and catches hold of him and gets him a challan. I am particular of that road, because he's always there from morning till afternoon.Yesterday, I saw him in the news, throwing a brick on a woman driver, it's a shame on his being a pol...

Exam Stress

Exams season going on and so is the preparations for it. Well i guess students these days got an `el-nino` effect of the same, hahah.temperature rising !! And  being a student myself too , i have pen down some of the basic things which can help you to cope up with exam pressure . Let`s understand the `exam-thing` step-by-step,what is an exam ? Its just  a way to assess your preparation for a particular subject. While preparing for one ,we usually land-up in stress, then how to beat exam stress ? Below mentioned are some of the ways to overcome stress:- Organise : first and the foremost is to organise ,in the context you should have all the basic things with you, say, books ( no last minute rush to photostatic shops) ,identity card .. so that you don't have to do last minute search for the same. Planning :   Planning as in prioritise, which chapter/unit holds the maximum weightage to the exam. Do that first,so that you know your topics well. Relax :- ohoooo......

will this shame end ?

One or the other day i hear about the crimes happening in our country against women, hoping that one day my ears won’t be listening the same. Now I started feeling that’s a distance dream in INDIA. I’m ashamed to say but that’s a fact in the country, according to NCRB data 93 rapes occur in our country every day, every single day ...and what we do ? Nothing... what our government do ? Nothing...moga case is the one which we all might have heard -of.  Even the judiciary takes its due course to settle (if) the case and it’s generally a loongggg span of time ... acid atttacks, bribery, marital rape... On global front our media is like -`Omg, how could miss sherawat speak about bad about our countries situation on women, when she spoke the truth , our country is afraid to admit... not to broadcast BBC documentary on Delhi gang rape ... why ? Because it s against the law or will it show that these men are still in jail having the `muft ka khanna ` and our judicia...
