In a cluttered handset market which is the slimmest phone has created a lot of buzz,surely,it has become a lot talked about feature for a product in the handset market. Recently, Micromax, India's second largest mobile devices company, with the launch of Micromax canvas silver 5, the company claims to have the slimmest phone in the world by taking the Guinness world record title by replacing Gionee`s S5.1 being the slimmest. With this technology coming up one can easily say that being `slim` is the differentiator in the handset market as everything inside the phone is almost the same what matters what a company has to offer outside. May be first mover advantage spin the table in the favor of gionee only and if, will it be able to sustain that position? I guess we need to wait for the data to come up officially for, who will be able to sleek into the consumer’s pocket.
